The Boy Who Loved My Eyes

To the boy who loved my eyes
Through his framed gaze
He saw the galaxies in them
Truly he was a gem
In the classrooms filled with morning light
Our friendship bloomed shining so bright
Years passed like the restless breeze
Your question at farewell made me freeze
For the hollow crown of success
I crushed your world to pieces
Maybe one day our paths again intertwine
That day my eyes will truly shine
Or are we two intersecting lines
Who will never meet again
